Barqora ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Zentric Auto automotive launcher application (the "App"). Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not use the App.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Location Data

Precise Location (GPS): We collect real-time location data to provide navigation, traffic incidents, and nearby points of interest.

Latest location on your account: While the App runs, it saves your exact latest location (latitude, longitude, country, state and city) and the time you were last active to your account record in Firebase (Firestore), about every 15 minutes and whenever you enter a new city, replacing the previous one. Our Cloud Functions use it to fetch traffic incidents for your area, which sends TomTom an area centered on it. It is kept until you delete your account.

Approximate Location: Rounded to ~1km for aggregated statistics.

Purpose: Route guidance, incident reporting, nearby POI discovery.

Retention: Location history is stored for 30 days unless you delete it.

1.2 Device Information

Android version, device model, screen size. Car UX restrictions state (driving vs parked).

Purpose: UI adaptation, safety compliance, crash diagnostics.

1.3 User Account Information

Email address, display name (via Google Sign-In). Firebase Authentication UID.

Purpose: User profile, subscription verification, data sync.

1.4 App Interactions

Search queries, destination selections, route history. Saved places, frequent routes.

Purpose: Personalization, product improvement.

1.5 Advertising ID (Analytics only)

Firebase Analytics may access the Google Advertising ID (AAID) while Analytics is enabled. Zentric does not use the AAID for advertising, ad personalization, or ad measurement; the app serves no ads.

Purpose: App analytics only.

Control: Turn off Firebase Analytics in Settings → Privacy → Analytics. Android system privacy settings also provide Advertising ID controls.

1.6 Subscription & Purchase Data

Google Play purchase tokens (stored securely via Firebase). Subscription tier (Free, Ad-Free, Premium, Lifetime).

Purpose: Unlock features, validate entitlements, restore purchases.

Retention: Purchase tokens retained for fraud prevention and subscription recovery.

1.7 Crash Logs & Analytics

Firebase Crashlytics: stack traces, device state at crash. Firebase Analytics: usage patterns, linked to an app-instance ID and the Advertising ID. Analytics is on by default; turn it off in Settings → Privacy → Analytics.

Purpose: Stability monitoring, feature improvement.

1.8 Call History

Zentric Auto does not read your device's call log. It does not collect, upload or store your call history.

2. How We Use Your Information

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

ProviderData SharedPurpose
MapboxSearch text and approximate location (rounded to ~110 m); precise location, destination and route coordinatesMap rendering, search results, routes and navigation
TomTomSearch text and approximate location (rounded to ~1 km); precise start point and destination; an area centered on your precise locationSearch results, routes and guidance, traffic incident data
Google Maps Platform (Places, Geocoding)Location coordinates, place names and addresses, via our Cloud Functions and directly through Android's geocoderStreet names, addresses and nearby places
OpenStreetMap (Overpass API)A map area centered on your precise location, via our Cloud Functions, only when nearby places there are not yet storedNearby places data
Tomorrow.ioPrecise location, via our Cloud FunctionsWeather conditions
Firebase (Google)Account, sync, your exact latest location, analytics and crash data; never call historyCloud hosting, analytics, auth
Google Play BillingPurchase tokensPayment processing, subscription validation

Search and routes: When you search, the text you type and your approximate location (rounded to about 110 m for Mapbox and about 1 km for TomTom) are sent through Zentric's Cloud Functions to Mapbox and TomTom to return results. When you search along your route, during navigation or while adding a stop, your precise remaining route is also sent to Mapbox through our Cloud Functions. Routes use your precise location and destination: the app requests Mapbox routes directly, and TomTom routes through our Cloud Functions. Adding a stop sends your precise starting point, every stop and your destination to Mapbox in two ways: directly from the app, for routing and road matching; and through our Cloud Functions, for search along the route and detour times.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights. When you submit an incident report, the report data is shared publicly within the app to other users in the same region.

5. Your Rights

5.1 Access & Deletion

You can request a copy of your data or deletion of your account by contacting us at Barqora@outlook.com.

You can also delete your account inside the app: open Settings → Legal & privacy → Delete account and cloud data and confirm. This deletes your account and the data synced to it (profile and latest location, preferences, saved places, recent destinations, route and search history, frequent routes). Purchase records (purchase token, product and subscription status) are kept as the law requires. Incident reports you submitted, analytics data and crash logs are not removed either; see Data Retention. Email us to have your reports deleted.

5.2 Location Opt-Out

Disable location permissions in Android Settings → Apps → Zentric Auto → Permissions. Note: Navigation features will not function without location.

5.3 Analytics and Advertising ID Controls

Zentric serves no ads. Turn off Firebase Analytics in Settings → Privacy → Analytics. Android system privacy settings also provide Advertising ID controls.

5.4 Subscription Management

Google Play Console: Manage or cancel subscriptions at play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions

In-app: Settings → Subscription → Manage Subscription

Refund requests: Contact Barqora@outlook.com within 14 days of purchase.

If you are in the EU, California, or Brazil, you have additional rights: right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability, object to processing, and withdraw consent. Contact: Barqora@outlook.com

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe we have collected data from a child under 13, contact us immediately.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures: Firebase Security Rules for Firestore access control, HTTPS/TLS for all network communication, Admin API key rotation for Cloud Functions, no PII stored in plain text, and purchase tokens encrypted at rest.

8. International Data Transfers

Data is stored in Firebase (Google Cloud), primarily in US regions. By using the App, you consent to this transfer.

9. Changes to This Policy

Appendix A — Mapbox Telemetry: The Mapbox Maps and Navigation SDKs in the App send telemetry to Mapbox by default; the App does not change this default. According to Mapbox, this includes your device's location (precise or approximate, depending on the permission you granted) and related data, map and navigation events (for example map loads and, during navigation, departure, arrival and rerouting, which can include your route and recent locations), performance and diagnostic data, and device information such as model, Android version, carrier, network type and battery level, together with an identifier. Mapbox states that it de-identifies and aggregates this data to improve its maps, directions and traffic, and that it does not record advertising IDs with it (mapbox.com/telemetry, Mapbox privacy policy). To opt out, tap the ⓘ (attribution) button on the map, choose "Mapbox Telemetry", then "Stop participating". Mapbox still receives a basic usage event that it uses for billing.

Appendix B — Third-Party SDKs: Mapbox Maps SDK, Mapbox Navigation SDK, Firebase SDK, Google Play Billing, TomTom Traffic API, and Tomorrow.io Weather API. No advertising or ad-mediation SDK is included.
